NEW TO PILATES?

Pilates is advantageous for those nursing an injury, for pre and post natal women and those new or coming back to exercise.

Pilates looks at the body as a whole while concentrating on biomechanics with a focus on improving core strength and posture.

Once called Contrology, this method of exercise was invented by a man named Joseph Pilates. His intention was to help injured dancers and soldiers consciously control muscle movement through the awareness of breathing.
